If the speaker does not appear on the list, try the following: Clear the Spotify app cache (usually done via the Settings menu). Restart your phone/tablet/PC. Unplug the Play-Fi product, and plug it back in. Make sure the Play-Fi product firmware version is 1.4.0.045 (or higher). Already set up your Sonos but don't have a password? Click here to access your account. I have a single modem connected to an eero system, I rebooted the modem. And then each of the 4 eeros I have around the house to reboot as well. I then plugged the amps back in. When I went to the Sonos app, it immediately suggested an update. When it finished updating, all rooms were once again visible in the app. My Sonos Play 1 speaker no longer shows up as an output device in the 'Connect to a device' screen on the Spotify app. I can use the Sonos app without a problem and it all plays fine but when I go back to the Spotify app it is no longer showing. The screen on the Spotify app looks all different (Has a weird scan code etc) so I think it is. Spotify never finds speakers, Google Assistant no longer works to control Sonos and the app drains my iPhone X battery in the background. It’s as if they are slowing making every use case I have redundant, but they don’t get that I won’t upgrade, I’ll just leave.

Depending on your speaker or sound system, you may need to select it as the default for the device you’re playing from or configure the connection to allow media sharing. Look for those options in the Bluetooth settings for the device you’re playing from (i.e. your mobile or tablet).
